Mr. Jones
I posted this on IM, but I'll share it here as well. A Widebody'd ITB'd N/A Supra that will get walked by anything FTL. Fucker should have gone NA-T or dropped the turbo 2J in the thing.

Farkas
I really hope he plans on doing some engine work, because I'm sure just with ITBs he's barely making 200hp. A bunch of head work with cams, high compression and a stroke might get him near 400hp.
Twistedrx7
i hope he has a freakin intake manifold rather than just sucking in straight dirty air.

Fuck it.. it'll just burn up in the cylinders, anyhow. It's not like he's going to daily the car lol PS- I'm going to run open stacks on my Corolla

They make like 225sh? stock, are you running under the assumption that exhaust & ITB's have somehow subtraced 30hp ?

Crank vs. wheel you silly, no 2JZ-GE ever made 225 wheel from the factory.
Mr. Jones
Crank vs. wheel you silly, no 2JZ-GE ever made 225 wheel from the factory. That was my initial thought, until he said "with some work" he can make 400. For some reason, I doubt any GE will make 400rwhp N/A

Fubar231
your right on that count, since they dont make cams for the N/a motor could always custom grind stock cams.
Guest Removed
could always custom grind stock cams. not enough to gain 180hp, even with raising the cr, and porting the hell out of the head.
Alex L.
your right on that count, since they dont make cams for the N/a motor BC makes 264's and 272's (WANT 272)
Guest Removed
wouldnt you need springs and so on with 272's? and i swear you said they dont make cams for the n/a motor
Alex L.
Probably, I'd have the head machined, ported, etc whenever I do it. http://www.briancrower.com/makes/toyota/2jzge.shtml
Guest Removed
those are for the vvti motors...notice there is no dizzy gear. so no, those dont work with yours.. read about them some more.
Alex L.
TT cam/crank sensor, block the stock distributor port off, problem solved.
Guest Removed
adding the cam sensors to the head requires making bungs for the factory sensors and welding them to the side of the head, which is no big deal really like adding the TT oil pump and crank trigger and so on, but at that point just buy a TT head, oil pump, etc. then i would say buy a TT head, and build that, then swap all that stuff on. but if you would have listened, you would already have a tt swapped in, on a big single. but no, you dont listen for shit. Alex L.
A GTE swap would have be nice. I was originally trying to do this as a more cost-effective alternative, live and learn.
Mr. Jones
Point being, no 400rwhp NA 2J Supras END OF STORY LOSERS
TheBussman1647545507
Just picked up some ITBs with the motor I'm dropping in the corolla well see if it sounds the same. He could at lest get some velocity stacks w/pantyhose filters.
