carl1647545492
Heat went out last night, looks like the ignitor on my Carrier furnace is not glowing and is dead, anywhere open on sunday to buy one? http://www.askmehelpdesk.com/attachments/heating-air-conditioning/27121d1259892605-carrier-furnace-igniter-doesnt-glow-ignitor_hot_surface_failure.jpg
mmrmnhrm
Are you sure it's the ignitor, and not something upstream? From my limited knowledge of heaters, it seems as if it's usually a relay that doesn't work, and the lighter itself is fine. If it is the relay, you might be able to get a compatible one at Radio Shack.

EDIT just pulled the part and found a hairline crack in the ignitor.
