Meh, I say go for it.

So how did it do today?

haha naa new boat before anything..

well initially i had some issues went to put the boat in the water an the motor wouldn't go down ...at all so took it back out. the electric trim would raise the motor but not lower it turned out the hydraulic line was pinched ....

fix that an still no go..

after further inspection the plate that holds the motor to the trim 3 of the 4 bolts were backed out with only a few threads left. an then one of the side that is one of the main bolts was loose as well  not sure how those got loose or if its normal but i tightened them up the best i could with a wrench.

an just relaxed the rest of the afternoon on the water i had me an two other people an for some reason today it had a real hard time getting on plane with one person in the back seat. im gonna have to fiddle with the trim height when having more then 1 passenger. im talking i coudl floor it an it just woudlnt get on plane gayyy,.

but i was cruising 32 all day with 2 passengers an 15 gallons of fuel.

dropped them off on the dock an did a speed run by my self an i hit 39.7mph with 10 gallons of fuel in the boat an just me. the wind had picked up a little so it was a little choppy. this was a 3/4 throttle. any more an it felt as if the motor wanted to bog down :(

oh an turning under full throttle on this boat  sketchy haha

Paul that boat will handle a 225, however it would be sitting out of the back 3 ft tall.

:bangbang:

Did you figure out the trim before you put it back in?.....

Do you leave the boat outside?

yea after i tightened all those bolts an un-pinched the line it moved up an down fine an dandy no other issues

an no as of right now it sits in my garage next to the jet ski.

why?

Happy Birthday,

I want a ride in a boat. :(

ill sell you mine i want a bigger one :p

Paul, you should just come get my gate opener and leave it in my spot at the marina storage while my boat is gone. Especially if you are going to be there everyday. Right now I just have my extra trailer in my spot.

It would beat dragging it up there everyday.

You better hurry and get one. When I just talked to them a week or so ago, they did not have many left.
