WTB - Working Socket A (462) Motherboard

Recommended Posts

Just need a *cheap* working board that supports Socket A (AMD) and IDE drives. To me, cheap is ~$25.

My spare PC died a few days ago. I'm fairly certain the board is dead and would like to fix it to donate to a family member. The old board is an Asus A7V600-X, which I can get used on eBay for about $60. That's not terrible, but I hate buying used electronics on eBay. It has rarely worked out well for me.

Anyone have one lying around collecting dust?
