guess you figured out why it was breaking up so bad

 

That and I am pretty sure the plugs were gapped to big. I fixed the wire and closed the gap on the new plugs. Hopefully tomorrow I can test it out to see if it will stop breaking up under boost.

If you still had a LSX you wouldn't have to worry about that. :cool:

 

We run into this issue with MSD wires all the time in the vettes with forced induction (ala higher EGT temps) . The plug boots are iffty most of the time because they make it difficult to seat the clip onto the plug, especially in crapped quarters Sams bemmer.

 

I would look into grantellis 1500 degree wires, that have a life time guarantee, they also have resistances in the 25 ohm and under range, however they are not cheap of course.
