wagner
Wow, based on all the talk of this new 5.0 I thought the dyno graph would have been in the shape of Jesus himself. I like the fact the pony car wars are back, makes me feel all American and shit again.
Turbotrio
In fairness to the Mustang I have to run all this 87 out of the tank to do a couple 93-octane pulls. It isn't going to catch-up in the Trq dept but it should clear the gap in HP for sure Jeff

spankis
If I'm not mistaken doesn't the Mustang's weight advantage easily make up for any slight power disadvantage?
STEVE-O
Is there a first twin turbo 2011 mustang yet??? Or is there now one going to be in the makings at ips???
wagner
If I'm not mistaken doesn't the Mustang's weight advantage easily make up for any slight power disadvantage? Yes you are correct. This is why you take dyno numbers for what they are just numbers...
Mr. Jones
New 5.0 is a high tech, high rpm motor. Give it some good gas, and the power will peak up quite a bit.

Fubar231
The question is, which one is more fun to drive stock.
STEVE-O
The question is, which one is more fun to drive stock. if any of us here we 100 percent happy with our stock car we would not md it so who cars if one is best to drive stock if neither is going to stay stock?? the mustang could be amazing to drive stock but once it has a ton of powe the camaro might be more tolerable and in turn be better and fun to drive??? Brandon
The question is, which one is more fun to drive stock. To me the camaro, but its real close. I find that the braking on the mustang is decent, however if you stab the brakes the car feels like it is going to fly out of control (sorta like a understeer feeling), that I can not get over. The camaro doesn't have that problem
