Disclaimer Posted February 27, 2009 Report Share Posted February 27, 2009 That's interesting... if they aren't losing 400 jobs per day and in fact adding jobs, then how did the unemployment rate in the state go from 5.3% to 5.9%? Unemployment doesn't go up when you have a net gain in jobs...I'm sure there's a bunch of half truths on both sides in this case. You won't get the straight scoop unless you dig into the numbers yourself. All these number answers need qualified based on how you define certain things and assumptions that are made.
