Littleguy
This is a cool new controller for the PS3. Seems like it might be an alternative for people like me who don't really like using wheels, or spending big bucks on them. HKS Racing Controller for PS3 just makes sense by Jonathon Ramsey (RSS feed) on Jun 23rd 2010 at 8:01AM Link; http://www.autoblog.com/2010/06/23/hks-racing-controller-for-ps3-just-makes-sense/ http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2010/06/hksps3controller.jpg A steering-wheel-and-pedal setup for your PS3 starts at around $50, but you'll spend at least double that to get into the good stuff. HKS has teamed with InterWorks on a game controller solution that stays at the $50 mark but could work just as well as a wheel while being a little less intrusive. The hot-coal red Hipermax III replaces the analog joysticks with a thumb wheel on the left side and throttle and brake buttons on the right side. The wheel has center stripe to aid steering, and the precise inputs of the throttle and brake controls are registered in the digital readout in the center of the controller. For the moment this is PS3-only, and while HKS hasn't released a price, it's pegged to come under $55.

jerrodh
It's original, and if its function could be pretty cool I guess.
ImUrOBGYN
Actually, seems like it may be pretty cool and they're saying it'll cost less than a regular sony controller. Of course, it's an odd setup and may not lend itself to certain games, but shit, if it works great, I'd get it for GT5 though I'd still love to have a whole wheel setup. I wonder what's up with the 'eye candy' in the center of the controller? Almost looks like a lighted tach and speedo.
Littleguy
The center is a gauge to tell you how much throttle or brake you are applying. Damn Christian, do you even read at all?
