Nice Car Trailer, winch, alum ramps,

I am selling my trailer. The only time I've used it in the past 4 years is when someone else broke down or otherwise wanted to borrow it. I drove to Mansfield and brought this back 4 years ago or so. $1375.

Since then, it has been stored INSIDE. Since buying it:

- I replaced the floor with treated lumber - 2x10x16's and 2x12x16's. Besides being treated, I also stained them.

- Replaced all wiring, including all lights.

- Was repainted 4 years ago.

- I replaced all hardware holding the deck to the trailer.

- It has over-sized 235-75-15 tires with excellent tread on white American Racing wheels.

- Has the round wire hook up.

- Comes with a 3-ton electric winch mounted to the tongue. Has quick-connect wiring that reaches to the tow vehicle's battery so no 'extra' battery needed.

- Comes with 8'2" Aluminum 2-piece ramps. One has a curve to it, but works 100%.

- Comes with a winch mount that fits a hitch so you can use winch separate from the trailer.

- Has 4 D-rings for easy tie downs.

- Manual jack works good and is in good shape.

- Safety chains. No brakes.

- Comes with 2 pieces of diamond plate pattern steel that can be mounted at rear of trailer for extra support / traction.

Overall deck measures 16'2" x 76". List of what I can remember has been towed with it... tube chassis Vega, S10, C4 Vette, C1 Vette, 2nd Gen Camaro, 4th Gen Camaro, 65 Chevelle (damn, some nice cars :) ).

how high is it? do you know if a vette will fit on it

Clay had his 96(?) on it and went to PA; maybe he can speak up. I know it's plenty long enough. How wide is your Vette?

The S10 in my sig goes on with no problems by jacking the front of the trailer up to make the approach angle less. The 8'+ ramps help.

EDIT - the tube chassis Vega guy used 2 2x10's to extend the ramp length, but his case was extreme - like 2" off the ground.

Some more info...

Trailers come with a "Manufacturer's Statement of Origin For a Trailer", and yes I have the original. The VIN is 4JMFS1928V1001633, made by Rettig Enterprises, 1997.

What's cool about this document is that it has the weight listed so you don't have to have it weighed, and it has one more area on it for seller/buyer info to be notarized (where a car title only has 1).

I am the 2nd owner (07-current), and I would bet money it was also stored inside by the original owner most if not all of the time.
