STEVE-O Posted September 1, 2010 Report Share Posted September 1, 2010 here you go usually have a ton of people who apply but most are not even close to being capable of the spot so i am posting this up here cause i know some of you need a job and can do this job description: The CarMax Reconditioning Associate will work as part of a larger reconditioning team and will be training to perform automobile receiving, inventory scanning, vehicle movement (both on and off lot), vehicle delivery preparation while providing superior customer service. These duties include, but are not limited to, basic vehicle detailing including car wash, interior cleaning and vacuuming, exterior cleaning of CarMax used, new and customer vehicles. Completion of the CarMax Final Quality and cosmetic inspections, paint touch up, wet sanding, and buffing of CarMax used, new and customer vehicles in accordance with CarMax's stringent quality standards. Interior vehicle repair of fabric, vinyl, leather, plastic, dye and color matching, and glass repair on CarMax used, new and customer vehicles is part of the CarMax Reconditioning Process. In addition, the reconditioning associates are responsible for small dent removal and other minor repairs including, sanding, grinding, paint preparation and paint application. Additional Duties may include: - Final Quality Control Inspections - Cosmetic Inspections Working Conditions: -Combination of both office and outdoor environment; may include working at times in noisy and/or inclement weather conditions. -May require walking or standing for extended periods of time. -Flexible work hours with shifts that may include nights, weekends, holidays and 12-hour days. -Must wear CarMax clothing (acquired through the company) at all times working in the store. -Follow all carmax, O.S.H.A. and EPA standards including the use of Personal Protective Equipment, and proper waste disposal in required areas. its really not hard at all esp for someone on here. gray69157 Posted September 25, 2010 Report Share Posted September 25, 2010 at 1st you will be working 1-9 shift and sundays are 11-730 but we close at 9 but you are not garaunteed to get off then you normally get out between 9 and 930 but ive been here as late as 11 before...its a good job and you can get quick raises but our time and attendance policy is a bitch so you have to be punctual...
