Nothing says Bureaucracy like the NHTSA's response: NHTSA warned that if the adhesive ignites it could "render the vehicle inoperable and possibly result in a crash." "possibly" Whew.. I was worried there. Good to know that when my car is a massive ball of flame that a crash isn't likely.
