rb26deet32
A friend needs a new transmission. It's a 5 speed '97 accord. Anything that will bolt up will work. Just needs to have reverse. Mileage doesn't matter much either. Just needs to not grind. Thanks.

rb26deet32
Not sure if you are interested but there was I think one or two at pick n pull. Yep, I saw them the other day. I was busy getting other things but I was keeping saving them as a last resort. I'd much rather give a person on here money than paying some junk yard for some parts that could be crap. But thanks for the heads up anyway. Brent

schmuckingham
http://www.kc-auto.com/ These guys are more geared towards Preludes and Accords. Ant transmission from a 90-99 accord will work or a prelude ( except the SH trim cars). Prelude has a steeper gear but makes the car a little more peppy
rb26deet32
turbotalon and my other buddy will hot wire the car and make sure it's good before u buy trust me... hell yea in that case. Can you guys be there Sunday? Im actually off then and can do something But I guess you don't have to actually be there. But if you could just test it out that'd be awesome. It doesn't need to be amazing. It just needs to not grind and it needs a reverse gear lol. Also any idea on how much they charge for a trans at P&P? Thanks. rb26deet32
It looks like it's $85+tax plus a $30 core charge. So I guess I'll be bringing in a trans on Sunday. Roy if you or whoever works there can let me know which one is good before Sunday that'd be awesome. Otherwise I'll have to just grab the one with the lowest mileage.
