jerrodh Posted September 10, 2010 Report Share Posted September 10, 2010 5.9L V8 Auto 96k 2wd/4wd Very well taken care of from what I've scene, includes recent service records family owned vehicle (grandfather, son) and both mechanically inclined individuals, knew more about stuff than me but thats not saying to much. Anyway get to the point, before I pull the trigger on this anything special I should look at once more when I go to possibly pick it up? Thanks guys! spankis Posted September 10, 2010 Report Share Posted September 10, 2010 Maybe check to see that the bands in the transmission were adjusted at least once or twice as part of "regular" maintenance. Those transmissions are known to fail without it, but mine lasted me 250k+ miles with nothing but fluid changes so who knows really lol.
