AJ Posted September 23, 2010 Report Share Posted September 23, 2010 you would have to wire your garage for 240v to use one. its an odd looking plug not like a welder. also i used mine on my dse tubs. not worth it, there is still alot of cut of wheel use needed and it doesn't cut a nice straight line like you want. i think it took about the same amount of time cutting the tubs out with the plasma cutter as it did on my '67 with the sawz all and a cut off wheel.
