I bought a transmission with a lifetime gaurentee from Jackson racing but the TQ verter is too thick 1/8" or .15". Previously I debuted at 12.44 then 11.78 and the trans broke after that. Have had my new transmission for 4 weeks now , just havent recieved the right converter yet........ Trans that broke was a Redneck unit. Snap ring let go inside. Not sure why. Siriusly Im up here now it looks like the new one is 6.1875 , TCI lists a spec of 6.125 but a upper limit of 6.150' . Technically I am fucked. I will throw it up there and find out the hard way... The last time i remember NOT having to shim a converter in was when I didnt know enought to check it. Fuck throw it up and measure, Maybe the pump has been faced and you will have enough clearance.
