ohmr95b
Anyone here started their own LLC? I am looking at doing an LLC with partners to enable me to buy NFA items here in Franklin County. I may eventually go ahead and start manufacturing ammo under the LLC (with ATF license) for sale at gun shows. Any insights?
TurboNova
I have always heard good things about legalzoom.com they are cheap and have good reviews
Otis Nice
You may get a better response in the general parking lot area. You'll need to file and get your articles of incoporation. I'm sure some on here can give better advice/insight. I'm a PB and only know what all I need to set up a Business Account or Loan/LOC. RyM3rC
Awhile back I remember a trust was the hot-ticket NFA route, but either way you might want to contact an attorney to get your paperwork squared away. Selling ammo is dangerous stuff man, I can't imagine the liability would be worth it.

Richard Cranium
Actually you probably want an LLP which is a limited liability partnership since you mentioned partners.

KennyFKINPowerz
It is really pretty easy. You go down and fill out the application at the Secretary of State on Broad St. Pay the 125.00 fee and that will take care of registering your trade name and setting up your LLC. You get it in the mail in like 10 days. If you need a vendors license then you can do it in the same building and it costs 10.00. I have done this 3 times with the business's that I owned.
