Why not a rb swap?

Keep it in the family...RB26DETT

 

The RB is a strong motor. If you can find one from one of the jap shops online, the better choice would be the ultra rare RB26DETT Z2.

It uses the stronger RB26 N-1 block, modified with Nismo parts, bored and stroked to 2.8 L (87.0 x 77.7 mm) , which produces 510 bhp and 540 N·m of torque.

I can get you any rb you want, let me know. since your in springfield you can come check out my rb swapped car anytime. If you have the coin , I can get brand new crate rb26 n1 blocks and cranks also. Or if you want to go big boy you can rb30 /26 or 25 head. I know guys over 600whp on stock rb25 bottoms ends, There are guys in the states running mid 9's on stock rb bottom ends, stock they are not powerful but with the right combo they are amazing. If you go the rb route let me know.

The damn oilpump and rods are almost 4k alone, hes asking 12k(neg) for it all and has 0 miles. This motor will be able to spin 10k rpm all day long.

The lsx motor was 14k and 2jz 11k that's high end parts

 

 

I dont get it you want a 2jz or a lsx and are going to hinson to get it done?...

 

THey told you high end parts? WTF are you kidding how about proven parts anything can be high end doesnt mean its gonna last long.

 

Better ask them about a warranty see what they say then.

But in all seriousness.....RB is the way to go. No doubt the 2jz is a strong motor, but IMHO Nissan's RB is nothing to sneeze at either. The 2.6 can be stroked to 3.1 and a big single turbo setup = MONSTER.....

 

And yes I'm a Nissan fanboy so take my opinion with a grain of salt I guess.
