jeffro
next system will be rolling through late this week. This could be the biggest snowfall of the near so far. heres the 48 hour precip from the event. this should be all frozen. Its been faily consistant with a system running from the panhandle of texas through PA. IM thinking a febuary of 2010 repeat. http://mag.ncep.noaa.gov/GemPakTier/MagGemPakImages/nam/20110118/00/nam_namer_084_precip_p48.gif

jeffro
Just about every storm this year was called "big".... You gotta look at the grand scheme of things. The models are good at predicting something coming, but often times the location will change. just because we only get an inch or two, doesnt mean someone 2 states over didnt get slammed. Ive learned quite a bit over the last year or two watching storm systems. Im sure you've heard the expression that the weather is unpredictable. well let me tell you, its so true. GSXRAntwon
Yea there will be a lot of talk about this storm tomorrow afternoon-night lol
jeffro
Yea there will be a lot of talk about this storm tomorrow afternoon-night lol yep, dont plan to go to the grocery store tomorrow ha. Ill personally got during the thick of the storm. nobody should be there! haha. Its a risk calling storms out more than 2 days out, as the storms havnt even been sampled yet, but theyve done a good job so far. Unless something radical happends, this is looking good.
