Sigh..

 

Lightpeak is poised to be used to provide interconnects on motherboards. To support simultaneous high speed interfaces, LIKE USB 3.0 / PCI-X Ect. Ect. without running into bottlenecks on the board.

 

Your not going to likely see lightpeak devices, as much as it's going to be used to interconnect the bridges and devices on future motherboards.
