1981 Camaro - vin 1G1AP87K0BL161481

Exterior – New Paint but not perfect. The right fender has a small dent on the bottom. Undercarriage is 100% rust free, it was stripped and repainted with POR15. All new headlights and marker lights. New wheels, ION 625 16” with brand new Nittos on the front and BFG Drag radials on the rear.

Interior – Cracked dash pad. Needs shifter boot and armrest. New carpet, floor mats, and headliner. Console and seats in perfect condition. No wipers or heat.

Engine – 357 10.5:1 compression. Brodix Trax 1 aluminum heads. 2.08/1.60 valves. Compcams 530/306 cam. Harland 1.6 roler rockers. Comp magnum push rods. Hyperuetectic Pistons, stock rods, steel crank. Victor Jr Intake, Holly 750 with HP center section. Holley Blue fuel pump. Jegs aluminum radiator, March pulleys. Cloyers double roller timing set. Hedman headers, 3in exhaust with dynomax bullets, msd 6AL box with msd. Pro billet distributor.

Transmission – 350 Turbo with shift kit 2700-300 stall and B&M megashifter.

Rearend – stock 10 bolts with 342 gear and Richmond mini spool.

Is the spray kit still on the car? How does it run compaired to your TA?

 

spray will not go with car. the motor has only been down the track one time in this car and the tranny went out. but the same motor in a different car would run right with my bolt on ta.

not tryin to be a douche, but was the bottom actually stripped or was it cleaned up and then painted. My understanding is POR15 is specifically designed to go over rust, not clean bare metal.

 

I will check for sure but I think it was just cleaned up.

Not thread jacking but por 15 bonds very well to etched metal.

just to follow up on this. it was stripped. cleaned by hand with a wire brush then painted....
