1980 or 83? That's an 83 shown. I grew up with my parents Olds/Caddy/GMC dealership. They sold a shit-ton of the 83's when they launched it. $9,999 all day long base price.

Its not out on the road much. Very hard to steer and I take it slow so mostly winter fun unless its on my car hauler. Good news is it can drive any where in this flat county.

I was murdered out in the mid 90s, 20% Tint 50% on the windshield. Drove it over 6 years and 100K miles myself. Car had 47K on the clock when I bought it in '94. The rings let go and I sold it for $1000 to someone who was going to do a V8 conversion.

Then came my first import, great deal $16500 new!: (I see this car once a month, a girl in my apartment complex at the time saw me come home with my 02 WRX and saw the Byers license plate frame, went and bought my car, she got a job at CSCC so I see it all the time, just saw it last week. I talked to her a while ago she said she paid Byers 17K for the car with 50K miles on it. LOL I paid less new. She's my stalker.

Still tryin to find pics but my first two were a 78 caprice classic/ lt blue with about 40,000 miles and ran like a champ and a 88buock skylark 4 dr. The skylark ha more hacked in stereo equipment than u could possibly imagine. I was 17 at the time.

1st was a base ass model 1997 Toyota Tacoma, didn't even have a cassette player, lol. But I did add flows and an intake before it was wrecked.

They were really fun cars. And it was great how you could pull the T-tops and rear decklid off and have a pretty much open car. My only regret was that they were FWD. Also the only FWD cars I ever owned. Next car was a '98 TA.

1982 Mazda RX7. I loved that car. Got it with a bad rotor in it and bought a new motor and me and my dad replaced it when I got it.

Not my actual car mine was silver.

2nd car 1984 Buick Regal Limited. When I bought it the V6 was gone and it had a 350 Olds in it. Not my actual car but it was the exact same color.

1st was an 84 Cavalier Type-10 (lol). Paid $500 for it and drove it for a month before wrecking it. Old dude pulled out in front of me on Schrock Rd and his insurance paid us $2200 for the car and we had it fixed and painted for $1000.

 

Sold it and got an 86 Corolla GTS notchback. Drove that for a few years and got a 91 Lumina Euro. I"ll try and dig up some pics.

maaco paint job? My car had stock honda black paint.
