Jizzle Juice
My xbox started not reading disk. For awhile it would work just open and closing the tray now it's just not reading and showing up as a DVD. I'm pissed right now. A quick google search led me to this it seems tons of people have this prob and Microsoft doesn't wanna do anything about it http://forums.xbox.com/9/34833009/ShowPost.aspx

EJ8 KENOBI
If your box is still under warranty you should be able to get it replaced. It's also possible to swap dvd drives (new drives cost $25), but you have to swap firmware keys for that to work and depending on which model dvd drive it is depends on how much of a pain in the ass it is to fix. JaSSon
It's an easy fix. There's a pot you can adjust on the laser. It requires opening up the xbox. Google is your friend.
