AWW$HEEET
There was an iPhone app that did the same thing. If someone was in a parking garage locking their car with a remote, you could steal their RFID frequency with the app, then go and unlock their car. I bet the same exists for Android. I have heard not about iPhones doing this but other frequency recording devices able to do this. Technology will be our downfall.

schmuckingham
Its BS, it may work but he has to waive that thing around to get a signal and has to be REAL close.

Also, those signals have to be decoded. No way a phone or device can decrypt it.

unfunnyryan
I wouldn't worry about it. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Near_field_communication At my last job, we installed commercially available RFID readers that you drive up to and could read tags inside of your car. Range was about 5 feet and they were no bigger than a laptop.
