ShoMeSomeFun
Had another thread on this but it was closed out that link is http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/showthread.php?t=76432&highlight=ranger Anyway its been slower than I thought it would be. So far to date cab is painted but not finished. Frame has been sandblasted painted and all fuel, fuel lines and drive train has been installed. Engine has been bored over to a 306, Aluminum heads, Edelbrock intake, 750cm carb, and shorty hooker headers, custom radiator to fit. Everything is polished except the power-steering pump. Had a 8.8 rearend rebuilt and shortened to fit w/3.73 gears, C6 trans rebuilt had to make a custom trans cross-member. I thought this would be easier since I had already installed a V8 in it previously. However its much harder to do it the right way and make things look good than it is to just get it running. http://i767.photobucket.com/albums/xx315/mattkeenusaf/engineside.jpg http://i767.photobucket.com/albums/xx315/mattkeenusaf/rearend.jpg http://i767.photobucket.com/albums/xx315/mattkeenusaf/dash.jpg http://i767.photobucket.com/albums/xx315/mattkeenusaf/front.jpg http://i767.photobucket.com/albums/xx315/mattkeenusaf/overengine.jpg http://i767.photobucket.com/albums/xx315/mattkeenusaf/cab.jpg Edited January 29, 2011 by ShoMeSomeFun

LS_Sonoma
holy shit a roadster! nice, Ive been thinking about doing this to my Sonoma. Tell me though, Where did you get that fuel cell and does it have a provision for return fuel?
ShoMeSomeFun
Bought the fuel cell from summit and the return line fitting was there. However my return line was smaller than my sending one so I had to change out the AN fitting and make a washer for the smaller fitting (Wasnt hard just bought a smaller fuel tank fitting from JEGS). Fuel cell is a 16 gallon just measure in-between the fuel rails and compare dimensions online for the right size tank. I have about 450 in the fuel system including tank, line, pump, filter. Thats cheap... I wish mine was that much for my new project.
