SlowZ06 Posted January 14, 2011 Report Share Posted January 14, 2011 My mom has an '01 Town Car, she's had ongoing issues with the climate control. It's been to the dealer, and two independent shops and no one has fixed it; so I figured I'd give it a shot. Here's the deal... Intermittently blows fuse for blower motor. Replaced blower motor, EATC module. Sometimes it'll work for a week, sometimes not even an hour before blowing the fuse. I've run the self-diag on the head unit, no codes. I removed the climate control head unit, and cannot cause the fuse to blow by fiddling with its connections or wiring, same with the EATC module and blower motor.
