Rustlestiltskin
well as some know I'm selling my truck. One of the trade options that came up was a partial trade+ cash on his end for a 91 eagle talon tsi 5spd. here's the info on the car. Crappy pics. has 2 sets of wheels http://i275.photobucket.com/albums/jj288/Dubs740/PaulsPics041.jpg http://i275.photobucket.com/albums/jj288/Dubs740/3md3oe3p05V25Q45U2b13e112862c5e281c41.jpg I've done tons of maintenance work to this car. Close to $5k in receipts. 134k currently As far as mods: Welded Center Diff w/double synchro 2nd Prothane Motor Mounts Ported & Polished 14b Ported & Polished 2g Manifold ACT 2600 w/street disc Fidanza Flywheel ARP Headstuds Deleted Balance Shafts Redline Synthetic Fluids in Trans and Transfer Case Hallman MBC w/Boost Guage I do have a 3" Custom Exhaust but it's not installed because I just had echeck, it did pass. It does have an AEM wideband, but like I said I had echeck so it's not installed on the current exhaust that passes echeck. Now the car actually looks really clean from the pics. I'm just wanting to know if I should even think about taking this in as a partial trade+ cash on his end. What do you guys think a somewhat clean car like this would be worth? thanks in advance, Paul
Alex L.
Maintenance records are awfully specific.
turboking15
between 3-4k is about going rate for something like that.

6 Speed S4
not a bad trade if it has records, and cash on his end I would say.

KentStateTsi
Why haven't you traded yet? It is getting very hard to find clean 91's. If you decide not to at least let someone know that will appreciate that car so they can buy it before it falls into somebodys wet drag car dream and end up in a junkyard. motozachl
This is my buddies car. He's extremely knowledgeable about dsms and its no pos like most out there. Pick it up he's looking to get a truck

turboking15
91's are the best year in my opinion... Except for the whole not being a 2g part....
JaSSon
My DSM was the most fun I've ever had driving. I've got the speeding tickets to prove it!
RC K9
Except for the whole not being a 2g part.... 1G>2G 1G has a more aerodynaimc design, 6bolt block, and interior is far more comfortable and driver oriented than the 2g. Slowbalt
2g look>1G but 1G performance> 2G. That car looks clean from what I can tell and they have definitely done it right. The only problem is that it is a DSM and that = Headache.
KentStateTsi
The 2g has one of the lowest drag coefficients for mass produced cars. But the 1g has less mechanical/electrical problems.
motozachl
2g is for show 1g is if your serious
RC K9
2g look>1G but 1G performance> 2G. I will agree with this. I think the 2G's are more visually pleasing on the exterior in general, but I would still prefer a 1G.
Dr. Apex
Looks like a clean car, go for it. Early cars like that are the ones to get, 6 bolt main, big rods. Just swap in a 4 bolt rear and adapt it for the oil cooler(though not necessary) and your set.
turboking15
That's why you get the best of both worlds, 2g body with a 1g motor.
