mjrsplat Posted February 1, 2011 Report Share Posted February 1, 2011 ok i got a 1jz supra with a stinger ems standalone. since i'm on standalone would i still have to wire in resistor packs for the mk4 injectors (since they are lower impedance) im thinking i should be able to change the settings in the ecu to recognize low impedence injectors but im not sure. im just doin a little research before i go spend the money so anyone with experience feel free to chime in. Stinger is a pretty basic EMS system but I dont think any even the top dollar will allow you to change it because its how the wiring is not how the ECU reads it.
