turboking15 Posted February 8, 2011 Report Share Posted February 8, 2011 I have a set of rci platinum 5 point latch style harnesses, the shoulder straps are wrapped around the cross bar of the roll cage, the outer lap belts use the factory bolting point and the inner lap belts are bolted to 3"x3" .1875" steel plates welded to the floor. The only thing i am hung up on is mounting the sub straps. I have aftermarket seats that i welded brackets to the floor using 1" square tubing and 1"x.125" angle iron. My question is can i wrap the sub straps around the front seat mount tubes and still be safe / legal?
