Gergwheel1647545492
So the girlfriend has a 2003 chevy cavilier. its listed as a bi-fuel motor. does that mean that she can just pull up to the pump and start putting e85 in it? does anything special need to be done before switching to e85? is it hard on the motor to switch back and forth a lot? CRed05
Just put it in, the ECU will detect it. Prepare for shit gas mileage in return for a pleasant odor.
99FLHRCI
http://ethanolretailer.com/flexible-fuel-vehicles/ I think it is a CNG or gasoline car? I do not see E85 being an option for a Cavalier anywhere?
CRed05
It was available http://e85.whipnet.net/flex.cars/2003.ffv.html
99FLHRCI
It was available http://e85.whipnet.net/flex.cars/2003.ffv.html That is a list of Alternative Fuel Vehicles. Under the column Fuel Type it doesn't list anything in front of the Cavalier. It seems to list E85FFV in front of compatible cars. I would guess it is a alternative fuel car because from 1999-2004 you could get a bi-fuel model that used CNG or gasoline. From the same site: http://e85.whipnet.net/flex.cars/index.html Cavalier is not listed.
