As the title says, have an M&P revolver for sale. It is the one with the fully exposed hammer, here:

http://www.smith-wesson.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product4_750001_750051_765781_-1_757783_757781_757781_ProductDisplayErrorView_Y

BUT it comes with the Crimson Trace Lasergrip, same as on this one:

http://www.smith-wesson.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product4_750001_750051_765780_-1_757783_757781_757781_ProductDisplayErrorView_Y

Comes with a cylinder full of self defense ammo and pocket holster shown in pictures. Not sure why they don't list the model with the hammer, with the laser grips but whatever.

Either way, MSRP is $1,129.00

SALE PRICE - $950

no trades, thanks.

Two questions...Why does that cost so much? My 642 was less than half that. Same gun basically in .38 no hammer. Next, how does pocket holsters do when pulling out....does the whole holster ever come out with gun?

all .357s cost more than .38s. normally 2-300 more.

I can't remember everything about all of S&W's wheel guns, but this may have a scandium frame, and built to take heavy .357 and .38+P loads. It's basically the Bentley of small wheel guns.

It's expensive because its quality. I've heard of other manufacturer's, I want to say Taurus, cheaping out more and more on their revolver lines and have quality control issues like the finish chipping off quickly. That, and its got a ~$300 laser grip on it. Your J-Frame 642 is an older design, probably doesn't have a trijicon sight, probably made out of a cheaper, heavier metal, etc. Also, .357 has to be made stronger for the higher pressure. Basically, anything M&P is going to be made better which means more expensive.

The pocket holster has a nub on it that is suppose to catch on the edge of your pocket when you go to draw it. It takes some practice to get right, as you kind of have to slide the whole deal along the side of your pocket to get it to pull out right, but it works and can quickly become second nature.

PS: I still have it for sale, feel free to make an offer. I may even work out a package deal for someone if they also are interested in my Beretta 12 gauge I have listed on here.
