1fast5gp Posted March 9, 2011 Report Share Posted March 9, 2011 I have a 80GB PS3 (CECHExx) with the blu-ray drive going bad. It froze up a few times and woud stop reading blu-rays. The laser just needs replaced which can be purchased for 40-50 dollars and the install is very simple. Every else still works perfect. I used it watch netflix for a while and play HDD games. I just bought a new PS3 slim so this one is up for sale. Price is $100 firm. This PS3 is backwards compatible and goes for around $200 if the blu-ray drive was still good. It will only be this price for a while, once I get tired of looking at it, i might order the part fix it and then the price goes up to $200.
