I work in Dublin and live in Blacklick and between the wifes Yukon and mine we are spending about 370.00 a month in gas. Feels like such a waste of money. -Alex- Posted March 16, 2011 Report Share Posted March 16, 2011 Watch craigslist like a hawk. Last year I picked up a bone stock, rust free '97 hatch with 140k for $1500. I spent another $300 on new headlights, front lip, coilover sleeves, a subtle looking quiet Apexi catback, new alternator, and some paint for the trim and steelies and ended up with $1800 in a good looking EK hatch that costs less than $30 to fill up and got 42 mpg average out of the last tank.
