sol740
So I built a new lightbox since my other one got all fucked up. Same materials used, same type of box. White tissue paper, and a cardboard box with holes in the sides and top, lots of tape, and 3 posterboard "slides". I needed something small to shoot so the Kimber got the call, since its still relatively new, and the last pics I got of it were with my cell phone(which did admirably). http://i84.photobucket.com/albums/k21/sol740/IMG_7635.jpg http://i84.photobucket.com/albums/k21/sol740/IMG_7627.jpg http://i84.photobucket.com/albums/k21/sol740/IMG_7611.jpg http://i84.photobucket.com/albums/k21/sol740/IMG_7623.jpg http://i84.photobucket.com/albums/k21/sol740/IMG_7633.jpg http://i84.photobucket.com/albums/k21/sol740/IMG_7604.jpg http://i84.photobucket.com/albums/k21/sol740/IMG_7634.jpg http://i84.photobucket.com/albums/k21/sol740/IMG_7622.jpg I've never used the poster boards before, I have to say I really like the different feel they give to the pics, not so "product"-ey. Now if I can just fit my shotgun, and maybe my car in there.

morabu
Rob, that setup produced some nice lighting and that Kimber is sex with that laser grip
sol740
The lightbox setup is dirt cheap. I had decent sized boxes from moving, and some leftover tissue paper from gifts. The lightbulb and cheapie hanging enclosure cost the most at 13 bucks. I do plan on buying another light, but even just the single works well enough. TurboGoKart
Great pics! A guy I work with just got the Ultra Carry. He loves it. It was great the first few days before it broke haha. I think it was one of the springs in the rear safety. Apparently whatever it was, if they're not put in perfect, they'll come out of place easily. Thankfully, you can send it back to Kimber and they'll go over the entire gun again.
