There's supposed to be a '3d' planed version by Namco called Tekken vs Steet Fighter that'll play more like Tekken, I believe. It'll be interesting to see how they port the Tekken chars into the SF world and vice versa. Personally, I've never been a fan of any of the SF vs Marvel fighters.
