2003 Explorer 4.6L V8 Stalls and Hesitates

Hey guys-

About 70K miles on the truck. Fuel pressure is not affected as it is a constant 67 psi. It acts fine when cold but after it warms up it will randomly miss and eventually stall out at idle. It will also hesistate when driving down the road and makes a random beeping noise but no lights on the dash that we can tell. No codes or lights as checked with OBD-II scan tool. DPFE sensor replaced previously and it indicated codes then, cleaned out IAC, jiggled ignition switch, looked for vacuum leaks, have also cleaned out MAF sensor....Anyone with any ideas? Sort of seems like a TFI box but don't know if this truck has one?

Thanks,

Andrew

60-65psi is spec on the fuel pressure so its a little bit high... could be loading up at idle, pull a couple plugs out and see if they look all black on the end

Agreed. We've seen anything from a coil cause this problem, to a up stream 02 sensor.

Also, if there is a pending code it will not throw a light.
