Mattsv8
If anyone has a line on complete 6l truck motors heads to pan w truck manifolds. Could you let me know. Wana start a turbo build and I've heard some good prices but can't seem to ever find the deals I'm hearing about.
TurboNova
you can find 6l motors around ohio in the 6-800 range. The 5.3 motors are around 350.00. You typically will not find 6l motors cheaper than that.
Snowflake
The best deal I could find locally for a complete lq9 or lq4 was $1100 with under 100,000 miles on it. I never found a 6-800 dollar one that was complete or hadnt caught on fire.
TurboNova
yeah the fire ones are the ones to have. You arent using the truck intake, injectors or proly the harness anyways. I would assume you are going to at least do valve springs and tear the motor down. I would never buy a "good" 6.0l, when its cheaper to buy one thats had some heat and just go through it. If you look for about a month or two you will find a complete fire 6l for 4-

Mattsv8
yea about 4 times ive heard of local 6l. for 700 range complete. i want to start a build up for the camaro. and would like to port the stock heads, add forged pistons and good rods for a power adder, and have it complete just drop it in and pull the stocker out. keep it all stock at 42000. said there was a guy north of here. that had them for 700. mostly i need the heads, manis, block and crank. rest is junk to me.
