Buck531
I got a call from a guy who got my number from an old friend who said I do computer work and stuff on the side. I don't do any sidework anymore so I figured I'd ask some of the geeks. I guess he has a virus on the PC and needs to get rid of it. Best Buy/Geek squad said they'd charge about $200 to do it and would need a complete wipe of the system. I know there are a few PC geeks on here so I figured I'd ask. smokin5s
where is the guy located at? Do you know what kind of hardware he's using? AKA, does his machine have the restore disks, does he have the OS CD? etc.... I can probably help him out... did you get a feeler for what he's wanting to pay? Guest Spam
Our store can remove viruses actually. We dont need to wipe the system usually. Even with these new ones that delete the icons and lock down the OS. But i guess gabe already got it.
