I am the second owner and purchased this car at 45k on May 16th, 2009. The original owner did most of the work himself (intercooler, battery, coilovers, Cusco bracket) and maintained it very well. All work done since then has been professionally done and I have all of the service records. Synthetic oil changes have been done every 3-4k (usually close to the 3k side). Transmission fluid was changed by original owner one week before I purchased the car (no record) and he informed me that no metal shavings were noticed in the oil.

 

I had the car tuned about 7k miles ago along with the installation of new NGK Iridium Spark Plugs, a 255lph Walbro Fuel Pump, and Duetchworks 650cc Fuel Injectors. Soon after the tune, the clutch (which was stock original) began to slip, so an Exedy Stage 1 was installed along with an Aluminum Flywheel. Brake fluid was also bled at this time and clutch fluid was bled just two days ago. Between the tune and the clutch install, a new front passenger side OEM CV Axle was installed.

VEHICLE ISSUES

 

Drivers side cv joint clicks (will be replacing this week)

 

At highway speeds, shifting into 5th gear causes a slight grind noise (can be avoided if babied in). This has happened since the day I drove the car home and has not gotten noticeably worse in any way.

 

All pictures show (except for one) do not have the 06 STi Trunk/Wing installed or the Rally Armour MudFlaps (can remove if requested)
