Franchi
I have a used, unlocked SCT X3 #3015 ( the ones with preloaded tunes from SCT ) tuner/programmer that will work on all Ford gas engines from 1996 to 2010 ( 2011 as well with a firmware update ). See link for full info on the unit from manufacturer. $250 cash and price is firm. lawnman
Don't know much about tuners and I did read the write up and I still have some questions Can I put a tune from this into my 02 gt and also put one on my kids 01 gt ? As far as reading codes and clearing them ire there a certain number of codes can be cleared or is it unlimited
Franchi
It will only work to upload a custom tune to one car. Once you use it to upload a tune, it becomes then vin locked to that specific car. It will save the stock tune in the X3 when you upload a custom one so to use it on another car, you have to return the stock tune back to the original car thus freeing the tuner for another car. 1 X3 = 1 custom tune uploaded at any time. Far as reading codes, there isnt any limit how many it can clear. I am pretty sure that you can use the tuner on multiple cars to READ and clear codes, but I not 100% sure on that, I would recommend calling or emailing http://www.sctflash.com to verify that if its needed. Let me know any other questions and Ill do my best to help!

Franchi
Bump, still got it. It's a #3000 unit though, not a #3015. Only difference is no generic SCT preloaded tunes on it. You would need your own custom tune made for your car and then upload it to your car with the X3.
