STEVE-O
I searched and could not find any definitive results so here goes I have a Eurodyne flash on the car right now ( B5A4 1.8t quattro) not the maestro, and was looking to get it tunned. Any local shops able to tune it for me? thank you

AudiOn19s
could I ask why the desire for a custom tune? The "box" flashes for the B5 cars pretty much cover almost all basic mods unless you've gone really radical with your setup. My A4 is pretty basic in setup these days. but I've never had an issue with the GIAC flash that's in my car, had it chipped for over 150k miles now. CRed05
GIAC is the way to go for off the shelf tunes. Like Andy said, I doubt you need a custom tune. For a custom tune you pretty much have 2 choices: https://vastperformance.com/index.php/tuning.html or http://www.eplabs.net/ Or if the eurodyne tune will allow it, you can fine tune it yourself by using Lemmiwinks. I know it works with GIAC: http://forums.fourtitude.com/showthread.php?1618056

UM yes it has much more than what i believe the basic falsh can handle at this point. It runs decently on the 870 flash that is on it but I can feel and here it breaking up, esp bad when cold, and would like to get it smoothed out and running better

I am not sure I have been trying to read up if lemmiwinks is compatible but I have not had to much time to do research on that but I will. Is lemmiwinks pretty basic or does it let you tune a lot of parameters of the car? I am pretty sure I need a better tune as I am aiming to run over 400whp. We are a Eurodyne dealer and pro tuners . Both myself and eric have tuned 1.8ts I called ips and they said you were out to lunch and I never got a call back Is there a time today I can call you thorne to talk a little more in depth on this subject? The idea with that is, say you have a "stage 3" car, so you get a stage 3 off the shelf tune, you can use it to fine tune. Sounds like Thorne has the best equipment, I'd go that route. I just have no clue about eurodyne stuff, it's not really used by S4 people that I know of so naturally I'd go with things that I'm familiar with. That might be all I need because I have eurodyne 870 flash on the car now but it is just that a flash so I was not sure if someone (thorne) would be able to tune that or if you need to get something more open like the eurodyne maestro 7 or a full standalone. Mr. Jones
PS: the 870 file will support just about anything you can throw at it. Once you start shooting for 400awhp+ you either better have a good understanding of what you are doing or have a tuner you can trust and don't mind spending some money on to get it right. Great way to dive into the deep end of the audi world i guess. I was hoping to inch my way but it looks like there is no time for that now lol, but hopefully fingers crossed I will be back on the road again this weekend.
