1981 Porsche 928 - 5spd - 68,000 miles roughly. Runs excellent. I have taken it on a lot of road trips. Newer tires, up to date on all fluid changes. Have a bunch of random extra parts that can go with it. Exterior is in good shape. It has newer Porsche Boxster wheels on it. Interior needs some work, and the rear trunk hatch needs a new plastic piece to keep it down. - $6500.

I will grab some more pics of the car tomorrow. I don't have any engine/interior pics that I can find.

The passenger seat bottom section needs redone as its totally shot. We keep it covered. The rest of the seats are in decent shape, a small rip in the drivers seat, but nothing too horrible.

Previous owner replaced the carpet and put blue carpet in it. It was originally suppose to have tan like the rest of the interior.

The fuse for the power locks needs pulled out as the power locks sometimes automatically lock when you don't want them to. I have talked to a person that knows these cars inside and out and has done many restorations and he told me not to even bother trying to fix this system and to just pull the fuse. I am not sure which one it is, is the only reason I haven't done it yet.

It also needs the passenger handle area that you pull to close the door replaced. I did buy a replacement for that, just haven't installed it yet.

We have done a decent amount of work to the car like replacing the door handle on the drivers side, brakes, power window motors, fluid changes, brake switches, radiator........ lots of stuff.

Extra parts that the car doesn't need but nice to keep around:

Extra fuses/relays for a bunch of different componets.

Original Wheels (no tires on them)

The 2 rear 1/4 panel curved glass pieces

And some other random parts I can't remember off the top of my head. We also have the original radiator that had cracked, we bought a new end tank for it and hired a shop to fix it, but they broke the tabs on the radiator. However, there are still ways to fix this which is why I kept it.

A few hundred bucks into this car and several hours of time could make this car an extremely nice one.

Mike, come by and take a look at it.

The hatch does stay closed, it just has about a 1/2" gap where the seal is.

I may just do that since your down the road a bit. I'm going on vacation for the next week. I'll send one of you a pm when I get back if you still have it.

  • 3 weeks later...

It actually went up on ebay a second time because the first time it did not meet the reserve when it ended at 3k. Second time it ended at $3830. The guy who won the auction has not come through with payment.

Link for second listing:
