Comebackkid
I just notice that I make more boost from a roll then from a dig. I check all my T clamps and not sure what to try next. Any ideas?
Patterson
It's likely because there is a load on the engine. What is your timing when on the two step?
DTM Brian
Define boost at a dig.
Miller
It's load. Your tires are likely letting loose. My car always built boost better rolling on than it did from a dig on street tires. It didn't need the boost to break traction.

Comebackkid
It's likely because there is a load on the engine. What is your timing when on the two step? It depends on how much boost I wanna push. I have the fuel set at 300 and -30* on the timing. I can build 20psi but with no fuel or ignition adjustment it's at 32* Define boost at a dig. At the track and going threw the gears without spinning it's make 11psi. From a roll it will go to 15psi. I have 2 44mm wastegates. were you at trails tonight? Nope waiting on slicks

My car looses 1-2 psi regardless of where the boost controller is set when it hot compared to cold.
Comebackkid
Nope doesnt settle back to 11. It'll stay at 15 till the track. I'll have to try 11psi springs and ditch the boost controller ans see if that helps.
DTM Brian
No idea then

Comebackkid
Looking to get 24.5 x 8.5x15 m&h Slicks here soon
TurboGoKart
Take that POS boost controller off the car and get a real EBC. If you can find the control unit with attached wires for an AVCR, I think I have the rest of the stuff to run that AVCR. My display/control unit only was stolen out of a previous vehicle, hence me still having the rest other than that unit.
Comebackkid
I'll try another boost controller and report back. The same one I have now worked great last year with a smaller turbo. In the datalog it shows it dropping psi so gonna try acouple different things.
