F1 stars' road cars – revealed

 

So you can impress your mates down the pub with your F1 knowledge and you are totally au fait with who drives which car - but do you actually know what the grand prix gladiators drive every day..?

 

It is the F1 summer break and news is somewhat thin on the ground at present as all concerned have scampered away for a well-deserved holiday, so to fill the void, we have a slightly different feature for your enjoyment and education. How do you fancy finding out what the grand prix gladiators drive every day on the roads?

The problem with F1 drivers is that, after driving a F1 car, even the most finely tuned road car feels sluggish and soft. So there isn't much "wow" left when it comes to cars us mere mortals can buy. That's why you see a lot of practical cars in their stables.
