BDHG940
I have a set of alloy wheels that are leaking around the bead. They have been bead sealed before and are still leaking. Do you think that powdercoating all around the entire wheel would fix this problem?
Patterson
Not likely. Best to clean them again, making sure there are no cracks or bends. Make sure the area is smooth. Then re use the sealer.
Wonderboy
Thats pretty much your only option except for replacement. Once that shit starts it will always come back no matter how clean you get them or how much sealer you put on them.

Then re use the sealer. I'll disagree. If the bead is blasted and powder coated it should seal just fine. Wheel Medic has a process that will remove the corrosion and reseal without re-coating. If the wheel keeps with the oxidation process it'll only damage the coating, and eventually peel it. With thr sealer it stays somewhat pliable. Less likely to leak. The problem may lie in the bead of the tire itself.

Or heat to outgas and re-prime with powder and be done with it.
Archie
You and Mike could just handle this via cell phone if the Jipster would ever answer the thing.
