LS_Sonoma
I've noticed some red pixels showing when the screen turns black or a dark scene is on. Usually it's in the center. It's a 50" samsung 620p if that makes a difference. Any ideas. Doesn't matter if the source is satellite or DVD player. Hdmi cables throughout. Thanks in advance. BDHG940
My plasma does same thing. I contacted Hitachi with no response, so if you find an answer, let me know.
bicranium
Did some searching and it sounds like it's a voltage problem. Should be something in the TV's manual about proper voltages and how to adjust them. There's typically a screw inside of the TV you can easily access by removing the back cover and you hook a voltage meter up to it and turn the screw until the voltage is where it's supposed to be. If it's still under any kind of warranty I'd suggest going that way first but if not go to the manual and check how to adjust the voltage and what it should be. In the beginning I thought it may be radio noise from the power cable inside the wall along. My cables are shielded though.
