Are you trying to do this for cheap such as just swap in said motor and go, or build it all the way out?

im looking at motors that have a few things gone to them to motors that are stock i have seen a few deals on motors with tranny and and motor by its self but we want to do it all over the winter and get what i need as i find it and find good deals.. right now it looks like im going to have about 1000 to 1200 to use to buy things for the swap...ill be paying a grand for the truck if he takes my offer.

mounts for that swap use the 2.8 rubber mts and a plate that bolts to the motor. those are about 80 bucks, i have a motor with 500 miles on it out of my blazer if u want a fun motor with some power 350" stock bearing sizes and bore, great lil motor but its 12.5:1, jegs hyd cam, ported double humps, new bearings, rings, and hone, about 1200 in parts and labor to do the motor work. id sell the whole engine for 1000 and if you need less compression id help to find a flat top and install it to drop compression down to 10:1 or so.

tranny crosmember can usualy be modded to work. expecially if u keep the 700r4.

the mounts keep the trans in stock location. but it does move the motor forward wich takes up space in the front. some times u have to mod the core support to move rad forward sometimes u can just get buy with a short water pump and a electric fan. s10s have a short engine bay so space is tight.

my blazer used the stock crossmember with the stock 700r4 when this motor was in it. worked great and drove nice. i wanted to spray it so

i put my old 12.5:1 nitrous motor that was in my s10 into the blazer so i have this one just sitting wasting space.
