I thought I was going to keep this car forever but I came across a deal on something better and now she has to go, I'll be taking another loss on this car. Chassis has 265,xxx miles.

Engine:

It's a silvertop 4age 20v with VVT. I built the motor myself, all stock except for a TRD headgasket, bowl blended and polished head, and the head was shaved down to the limit. All machine shop work done by M&M head services including a valve job. Valve cover and surge tank powdercoaded by performance powdercoating. Plastic parts painted by Tongda autobody. Revs to 7,500 RPM. Motor has less than 5,500 miles on it.

other mods included:

Polk speakers in the front doors

Pioneer 6x8s in the rear deck

Kenwood head unit with aux hookup and cable

Audiobahn 800watt amp

Audiobahn 10" sub.

Uhaul trailer hitch

OEM trailer wiring kit

A/C delete

Other parts I've replaced while I've owned this car:

rear struts and springs,

front ball joints.

85 MR2 wheels

88 Toyota Cressida seats in great condition (Super comfy)

New OEM axles

OEM Clutch kit

OEM Master and slave cyl

front hawk HPS pads

front rotors

brake and clutch fluid flushed.

Problems:

Yes I know you can see that big green pair of pinch pliers still on there. That is the idle control valve... for now. It's the only thing I couldn't figure out during the swap. The valve works just isn't being commanded by the ECU. It must be missing an input. I haven't spent very much time trying to figure it out yet either. i may figure it out soon. It idles a little high warm and a little low cold but it's not that problematic really.

The oil control valve for the VVT is leaking internally, I've located this part for $63, new the only problem is it takes about 6 weeks for it to come in. I f you want I can make a block off plate, you could still drive with no vvt, but no oil leak either.

The custom power steering lines are hand made by me and I only planned to use them temporally until I could get some professionally made, they could be formed a little better, and they have begun to leak now too. I have found a place that will make them though.

The e brake cables just seized up recently too.

Tires are cheap but have 3/4 tread and perfectly even wear as this car was frequently aligned.

there is some rust as pictured, the underside is fine though, It has been "rust proofed" obviously that plan didn't turn out too well but I think it helped.

It's a 1.6L so that's 160 HP an no it hasn't been dyno'd but that's what the motor makes stock at the crank.

Right on, I fail. I thought these were 2 liter motors. Moving on. Sounds like a neat car, if only I had room for it. I should quit slacking and sell my spare car.
