jerrodh
Anyone have any of these, especially some of the cheaper ones? I am considering getting one but I don't want to spend $100 on one of the cheaper ones and it not perform well. I plan on using an eotech XPS2 because I like the shorter base. http://www.eotech-inc.com/products/sights/xps2 So besides spending another $400-$500 on an eotech or aimpoint magnifier anyone have any recommendations? RedRocket1647545505
Sell EOtech. Buy a quality 1-4x. I've never ran a magnifier, but the concept seems unproductive to me. I've also heard that the cheaper units have noticeably less clarity.
JaSSon
Look into Primary Arms. They're popular on ArfCom.
stolen 5.0
I know the eotech one is nice, my buddy has the setup on his LWRC
Mowgli1647545497
Just don't get the twist off - they never hold zero. Flip to side only.
schmuckingham
I am going to be a dick and say magnified with an offset mount

Mowgli1647545497
Yes they do. If you want a clear unblurred sight picture with good optics. All telescopes have clearest picture in the center and it gets worse the more off center you go. Plus, I havent found a twist mount yet that isnt a PITA to get centered to begin with. They all need to be cranked over near full stop one way or the other to center the RD's reticule. Which of course wanks the optics itself. Flip to side's are so much more linear and less PITA. Thats been my experience with about a half dozen of these.
stangsn95gt
why not go with something like this http://www.MilitaryWarfighter.com/Leupold_59100_p/leupold-59100.htm Edited November 8, 2011 by Mahle
Scotty2Hotty
I've got a Leupold Mark 4 CQ/T on my LMT rifle, and have no complaints so far. I have the reflexive 1X, and can index the 3X with a twist.
