X-mas destination recommendations?

My wife wants to get out of town for x-mas this year, partly related to her dad passing away recently.

We are not having much luck finding something this late in the game, we've been focusing on Gatlinburg, TN.

Open to any ideas within about 6 hours of Columbus.

Here are the details/'requirements':

-Arrive Friday 12/23 for 5 nights

-Depart Wednesday 12/28 (Willing to move this a little, such as 12/24 to 12/29 instead. Maybe be willing to stay a full week if a better deal)

-Targeting to spend $700-1000 total with tax etc for the 5 nights.

-We want standalone cabin, not a hotel room.

-3 adults and 2 children, 1 baby

-at least 2 bedrooms

-Need wifi internet access.

-Decent Sized hot tub

-nice widescreen HDTV with cable/satellite TV

-game table like pool or air hockey (no cheap 4-in-1 game tables though)

-We have a front wheel drive minivan, not a 4 wheel drive, if that matters.

We had our heart set on this one, but it was already booked:

The Smoky Mountains are a great place to visit that time of the year. The wife and I have done it a couple times. I might suggest staying close in town to Pigeon Forge with only having a FWD minivan. Also if the weather gets bad, more places to eat and more grocery stores. If it snows, you aren't going to get to a lot of cabins. On that chance alone, stay away from anything off Ski Mountain road. Some of those cabins are tough enough to get too in the dry weather.

Another bit of advise, if it does snow, watch yourself. The locals have no clue how to drive in snow. They flip out to any snow that builds up on the ground. LOL
