Dumpheezy.
Trying to find an aftermarket oil pan for a 7-bolt and I am having no luck whatsoever. I have however read in a couple of instances that the evo 8/9 pans are interchangeable with the 7-bolt 4g. Can anyone confirm this for me? turboking15
Dont think there are any that are mass produced, you will probably have to get one custom made. Talk to this guy im sure he could do one for you. He has made quite a few amazing parts for the dsm community and does amazing work. http://www.frontlinefabrication.com/ Might i also ask why you need an aftermarket pan? Green Bastard
I'm just curious what year is the 7 bolt out of, if its 95-97 era your better off with a 6 bolt then anyways
Dumpheezy.
Its for a customer car, and he has a built 7bolt in the car already. Thanks for the tip turboking.
RC K9
Just because the car is built does not mean he needs an aftermarket oil pan. Why does he feel he needs an aftermarket one?
Dumpheezy.
Point blank: His stock one wasnt sitting 100% flush / was quite rusty and he wanted something new and shiny. Pricing a factory replacement as I type.
RC K9
If that's the only reason, get another stock one. Look on dsmtuners.com classified section.
turboking15
Or call me, I have a minty 7 bolt one in the garage.
Patterson
If it has main studs it likely will need to be beaten to fit properly. Usually it's a the front studs that cause this.
